Preparation Day: 55

I call to God; God will help me.
At dusk, dawn, and noon I sigh deep sighs —
he hears, he rescues.

My life is well and whole, secure in the middle of danger
Even while thousands are lined up against me.

David, in Psalm 55

  1. Ah, you used my Psalm! Of course, you used the hopeful ending, rather than the desperate beginning. But then again, that’s why I chose it.

Thank you–just eight tiny letters–but I mean so much more.

  3. Even when….what more could we need?

And why do I so often doubt that it’s enough?

    Thank you, Lyla. You cutie.

There’s just something about ice/covered trees…all white and glistening. We can almost feel God covering us, protecting, loving us, as well. Beautiful! Thanks for also stopping over at my blog! Have a wonderful day!

  11. Sometimes I miss the snowy midwestern fields. Especially knowing that so many I love are in them.

Beautiful, Ly. I thought of you this morning when I was waking up.
