Write Them

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)

Thanks for your words this morning. And yes, he deserves to get rolled down a hill. And when I say that, I’m actually saying that I deserve to get rolled down the hill because I so often forget my place in relation to God’s. But thankfully, there is grace, even in the tough words.

Thank you for sharing the above scripture. It was a good reminder for this Lent season.

I don’t know how, but you have been reading my journal!

In November, I asked Him what He wanted me to want most from our relationship.

I was thinking that maybe He would say more faith, more prayer, more submission.

But that’s not what He said.

He said, I want you to love me with all of your heart. All of your soul. All of your mind. All of your strength.

And I thought I did that already.

    But I don’t. Not really.

But I want to. I want to love Him like that.

And you do to, don’t you? I can tell.

    Sweet dreams.

Yes, this is how far behind I am in my google reader. Sorry! But I love it…and I love you. You truly are a woman of the Word!
